Eryaman Okyanus Koleji İlkokul Kademesi 3. sınıf öğrencileri daha önceki derslerinde “Meet the Explorer” ünitesinde yer alan aile üyelerini öğrenmişti. Bu aile üyeleriyle ilgili kelimeleri pekiştirmek amacıyla öğretmen kartonların üzerine harfleri karışık bir şekilde aile üyelerini içeren kelimeleri yazdı ve tahtaya astı. Öğrenciler teker teker tahtaya gelerek harfleri sıraya koyarak kelimeleri doğru bir şekilde yazdı. Sınıfın geri kalanı ise tahtadaki arkadaşlarına harflerin İngilizce okunuşlarını söyleyerek yazmalarına yardımcı oldu. Bu etkinlik sayesinde öğrenciler aile üyelerine ait kelimeleri pekiştirmiş ve harf hecelemelerini tekrar etmiş oldular.
The Students of 3rd Grade of Ankara Eryaman Okyanus College played a game called "Word Jumble" in Main Course.The students of 3rd grade have learnt about family members in the unit of Meet the Explorer before. The teacher wrote family members words with the letters in scrambled order on the cartoons and hung on the board. Students came to the board one by one and they tried to find out the correct writing of the word. The rest of the class helped their friends by spelling the letters so that they could write. By this activity, students repeated the family members and spelling.
